 ■Digital prints utilizing Echizen Washi paper

"Refgraph Fine" takes advantage of the characteristics of Echizen Washi paper, while carefully correcting the color tones of freshly input image data, which is the basis of the image, by layering the adjustment data. All of this is done for the sake of high-definition printing, and a digital "plate" is created by layering data broken down into the three primary colors of light, RGB (red, green, and blue).

■"Color Expression" and "Weather Resistance"

Refgraph Fine" is an original technology that applies a special oil-based coating to the surface of Echizen Washi, a traditional Japanese paper craft. It has the paper's unique paper quality and the tints it produces, and it excels in reproducing the fine tones and depth of a painting, with a high range of reproduction by color area and gradation in monochrome. The pigment ink used in REFGRAPH FINE is not easily decomposed by light or ozone in the air, which can cause fading, enabling high light and ozone resistance, and its excellent preservation properties enable vivid prints to be maintained for a long time. This ink also has high water resistance, making it difficult for the ink to dissolve in water and maintaining the beauty of the print.
